There is no shortage of great information regarding healthy relationships and marriage, but every once in a while some info comes along that is out of the norm.
It really makes you stop and think.
This is one such story. Told in a very matter of fact way, I think you will enjoy this modern love story posted by Laura A Munson in the New York Times.
We’ve all seen it.
They have it all, and all is going well and then a spouse drops the bomb shell…
“I don’t love you anymore.”
Her reaction and how she conducted herself will give you food for thought.

What strength and compassion! What a woman.
Thanks for posting.
It's like recognizing true wisdom when you see it...a rare but treasured experience.
Keep blogging!
An amazingly wise woman.
I can take something from her even now....
"Don't suffer because it is not about you - it's about him" - That is priceless advice.
Priceless
Hello M!
Yes, when you see true wisdom it pretty much hits you right between the eyes. Very refreshing. Thanks for commenting.

Now that I have had a night to think - I will comment this.
I appreciate her having an objective and seeing her plan through to completion.
I do believe there are some unhealthy behaviors beneath the surface of what she did and the way she interacted with her husband. My gut says 90% of her theory and actions were on target but about 10% are concerning I hope there is more to the story to round out the experience.
Hi M,
I do believe that there is probably more to the story than you could ever share..and that 10% may be a "walk a mile in my shoes" situation...which from a story we will never know.
90% is pretty good for someone living it at the moment...and really has supplied food for thought for so many to have some kind of alternate ideas besides just leaving when they feel their marriage has grown cold.
Thanks for bloggging!
